As ICA Canada enters its 40th year, we’re taking the time to celebrate our achievements and plan for the future of our mission: developing the leadership capacity of people to contribute to positive social change.
We look forward to meeting our members and supporters at the Courage to Lead Award Night on Thursday, November 26th at Markham House (in Mirvish Village). This year we are honouring Irene Wright, whose leadership has helped establish the values of the Courage to Lead book and course within the culture at the University Health Network.
For 2106 our sights are set on expanding The Courage to Lead course, adapting it to new formats and making it available to new communities. ICA CANADA is also establishing a Leadership Community of Practise for all of our members, supporters and alumnae to reflect, discuss, and practice courageous leadership as it applies in our lives.
You are invited to participate as these programs take shape and we will let you know of events and opportunities as they arise.
We also invite you to contribute to ICA Canada in our Fall Fundraising campaign. This year’s proceeds support providing The Courage to Lead in new contexts, to clients for whom Leadership is a vital concept. With each new term we are amazed and excited by the enthusiasm our UHN participants show during the course, and even afterwards.
If you would like to donate to ICA Canada in support of our ongoing programs, please do so here. All donations of $20 or greater will be issued a donation receipt. Please make cheques to ICA CANADA.
If you have any questions, please contact us or call 416-691-2316 x2247.
We look forward to seeing you on November 26th at 6:00 at 610 Markham St.
With much appreciation from the Board and Staff at ICA Canada.
